The Facts of How To Keep Moss Green
Moss is a very easy-to-care-for plant; as long as it is properly tended in a suitable environment, keeping it evergreen is quite easy.
Moss breathes and absorbs water through its leaves, so water should be applied by spraying to allow it to absorb moisture.
The temperature and humidity of the environment where the moss is placed affect how often and how heavily you should spray. Spray when the moss turns light green — this indicates dryness and a dormancy that conserves moisture; a light spray will restore its fresh green. Do not give too much water (the moss will turn dark green), because excess moisture encourages mold and rot.
Indirect, diffused light is sufficient—avoid strong direct sun. The best growth temperature is between 15℃ and 25℃; survival range is between 0℃ and 40℃. (For an article about light:https://www.greencapsulehk.com/post/ep-04-sunlight-full-partial-shade)
The environment should be ventilated; do not place the moss directly in front of an AC vent or near a dehumidifier.
With proper care they can survive for several years or more.

Mosses respire through their tiny leaves, so water should be sprayed onto the leaves rather than poured at the roots.
The frequency of water-spraying for the mosses depends on the temperature and humidity of the environment where the plant is placed. Watering is needed when the color of the mosses changes from rich green to light green. At this stage, the mosses are in a dormant period to avoid loss of water. Rich green can be observed once adequate water is supplied to the mosses.
Avoid exposure to strong sunlight; indirect sunlight is sufficient. Although they can survive between 0℃ and 40℃, 15℃–25℃ is the best temperature for them.
Place mosses in a well-ventilated area. Avoid putting them directly in the path of an AC vent or near a dehumidifier.
The mosses can be kept for a couple of years or more under good care.
